Newborn Art Photography in my Studio in Iluka

Most of the images that you see in my gallery and website have been lovingly and carefully composed as Newborn Art Photography. The skill of a true Newborn Baby Photographer is the ability to position a newborn baby in these various poses and the results are being cherished by customers for life.

My studio and equipment is exclusively set up for newborns in mind, with many different bowls, baskets, shawls, hats and other props – to which I am adding all the time. Most of the hats and shawls I have handcrafted myself to ensure the colours & textures are available for the look I strive for my photography. As you can understand, due to this extensive array of equipment, it is easier for me to photograph your newborn in my studio.

Newborn Art Photography cannot be rushed and I therefore allow two to three hours for the photoshoot. As I only book one session per day, it won’t worry me if the session takes that amount of time or even a bit longer. The main thing for mum & dad is to relax and enjoy watching their little one having his/her first photoshoot.

Although newborn portraits are best taken 5-12 days after birth, which is the ideal time when babies still like to curl up like they were in the womb, I have also taken “newborn” photographs of babies as “old” as 7 weeks.  These sessions can be a little bit more tricky, however, I still strive for some pure & timeless poses.

If you have had your baby already – and of course first of all Congratulations – and perhaps regret of not having had newborn photographs done earlier, please contact me as soon as possible. I will try my utmost to accommodate you and produce images that you will cherish and love.

Please note that to book this package, only the Booking Deposit $150 is due.  The remaining amount of $845 is due 3 days before the session.
